Another project for Digital Art. XD; Orignally I was just doing this for myself, but since the theme is 'fractured fairytales', this works. XD I may do another, because the teacher gets upset if you finish your work outside of class o.O; Which is really hard for me to start something and then have to wait to finish it.
Since the fairytale would be The Little Mermaid then, this isn't exactly fractured o.O I was actually thinking of the classic tales of mermaids, where they steal a human man to be their lover *-* I love merfolk, I do And I know my teacher will say this is so phallic, because she thinks absolutly everything is phallic XD She thought a picture of a car tire was phallic, haha. And she likes to make us look at naked pictures of little kids o_O;; The pose was taken from some hentai art from Anime Advance. o.O Y'know, considering that's supposed to be a pretty clean site, there's some art there that's a little scary. Ehehehe... well. I like the theme, and the colours are prettyful. I've always love the fairytale Little Mermaid, but this looks more like the adult-version of it... *rofl* xD The design of the mermain (you) is very well done, especially with the flower and the pearls (asuming flowers can live under water ._.;; ). Or is that a starfish? xDDD
Anyway. It's good methinks.

*ahem* yeah, now that's done with I assume you'd like a serious comment. Well, in short, this is an awesome piece of art I feel. I'm not normally huge on anime style, but I think i'll make an exception here. The mermaid definetly looks like the dominating force, a cool pose. The expression is really cool, as someone said previously, my only gripe would be the skin pattern, it looks leopard print to me and suggested anthro on my first impression of the picture.
Anyway, overall, great job.
